BLANKET MAKING FESTIVAL 2012
In memory of Northgate student Trevor Tonsing, please join us in making tie blankets for patients of Children's Hospital, Oakland.
When: Thursday, February 2nd
Where: Northgate cafeteria
Trevor's Eagle Blanket Foundation will supply enough fleece to make 200 tie blankets.  All students are welcome to help transform the materials into beautiful blankets.

CONGRATS TO WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Congratulations to the Women’s Basketball Team for going undefeated (6-0) in the first half of the season. Tuesday night the Broncos beat Clayton Valley 64-56. Meghan Blough scored a league high 28 points to lead her team to victory.
The Women’s team will be featured on Cal High Sports this Sunday, January 29, at 6 and 11 p.m. on KOFY- Channel 13 on Comcast and Channel 20 for DirectTv and Dish. Tune in and watch the game and the interviews with the seniors and captains.                1.27
 
 
 
FROSH GIRL’S SOCCER
Come watch the frosh girls soccer team (now 10-3-1) play this Saturday (1/28) at Northgate

 SOFTBALL SIGNUPS AND INFORMATION
Girl’s softball signups from 2:00pm-2:30pm every Thursday at the softball field. Coach Hendry will be on campus for interested student athletes to sign up for tryouts and receive a softball program information packet.   Softball is a spring sport and tryouts start on February 6th. Please check out our softball page at www.northgatebroncos.org for more information and coaches contact info.                                            2.3

OUTDOOR EDUCATION: Counselors       
If you are interested in being a counselor for Highlands Outdoor Ed. Camp from April 3 through April 6, 2012, pick up an application at the school office! Return them to the office no LATER than 2/17/12 so

Graduation Announcements
Your graduation announcements will be delivered on Wednesday, February 8 during brunch and lunch in the Forum.  This is the only delivery date so all seniors must
pick up their graduation announcements at this time.                                                                       2.8                
 
Senior Banquet 2012
Senior Banquet tickets will be on sale at:
$50.00: January 25th-27th
Ticket prices have increased to $50**  An activity contract must be filled out before your ticket purchase and all fines must be paid. 
Activity contracts are located outside of the Treasurer’s window. **                                           1.27
 
Senior Banquet ~ Baby Pics & Group Photos
Attention Seniors! There will be a slideshow of pictures at Senior Banquet on February 4th. Please send any group pictures of you and your friends as kids and growing up to northgate2012@gmail.com. There will also be a game involving baby pictures so send those in too by January 28th.                1.27

SUMMER ENRICHMENT COURSES       
 
Students choosing to take classes for enrichment or credit during the summer at Diablo Valley College, Los Medanos or De Anza need to make sure they have spoken to their school administrator and have a district concurrent enrollment form approved by their school administrator prior to June 14, 2012. Forms are available in Student Services.
Don’t risk foregoing a course this summer because you did not get your form approved in time. The last day an administrator will be available to approve your concurrent enrollment is June 14, 2012. (6.14)
