The Northgate High School Care Team is made up of a group of Northgate staff members who are dedicated to improving the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of students at Northgate. The Care Team meets weekly to respond to student needs and/or review student situations.
Our Parent Faculty Club (PFC) helps provide funding for two licensed support counselors and one school psychologist for Northgate High School staff and students.
NHS’s College & Career Center, centrally located in our Library, offers resources and workshops to help all students explore college and career opportunities.
The Parent/Teen Anger Management provides strategies and resources for parents and
teens to have more effective ways of communication and positive relationships. It also
educates teens on how to address destructive behavior, stress, and anxiety due to school
and peer pressure, and many other issues that affect and disrupt teens’ life.
The Contra Costa Crisis Center is a nonprofit organization, committed to providing free 24/7 services to everyone in need. The mission of the CCCC is to keep people alive and safe, help them through crises, and providing or connecting them with culturally relevant services in the community
